Ocean Kids: Primary School & Intermediate

Primary School and Intermediate Education

Ocean Kids is an educational programme provided by SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium for primary schools. Ocean Kids offers engaging, hands-on experiences students need to ignite their natural curiosity, helping them develop essential skills in a fun and exciting way to set them up for a lifetime of successful learning.

We provide the choice of one of the options below to suit your particular group’s requirements. The session involves exploration of our rockpools followed by 40 minutes of play-based activities in our education room with one of our educators, where students are encouraged to role-play, explore and imagine. Our activity stations engage students in sustainability issues and sensory play with authentic artifacts. Students can pretend to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured marine life, learn about responsible fishing and explore marine treasures. Your group will then embark on a self-guided tour around the highlights of the aquarium to view sharks, stingrays, crocodiles, and penguins.
