Ocean Teens is an educational programme provided by SEA LIFE Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium tailored for young adult learning. Develop your high school students' passion for our oceans through exploration of our underwater world. Ocean Teens allows students to learn from a wealth of experience with our marine specialists' expertise and getting a guide to marine careers after school.
We provide the choice of one of the options below to suit your particular group’s requirements. The session involves exploration of our rockpools followed by 40 minutes of play-based activities in our education room with one of our educators, where students are encouraged to role-play, explore and imagine. Our activity stations engage students in sustainability issues and sensory play with authentic artefacts. Students can pretend to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured marine life, learn about responsible fishing and explore marine treasures. Your group will then embark on a self-guided tour around the highlights of the aquarium to view sharks, stingrays, turtles, and penguins.
