Darren Cross – Front of House Manager

 

My Role:

I am one of the Front of House Managers and my key responsibilities include organising all of the feedings and presentations, and ensuring the daily operations of the attraction run effectively. I also supervise school group sleepovers.

Career path:

I started in the industry working for Kiwi Experience. I then applied for the Front of House Manager’s position when it became available in 2005, and have been at Kelly’s ever since.

Most enjoyable part of my role:

I enjoy managing the Sleepovers - staying overnight with groups of kids is loads of fun. I also really enjoy getting into the stingray tank and feeding the stingrays.

Most memorable moment:

Getting into the tank with the stingrays for the first time!
